Through the Lensbaby Blog Circle, April: The Fiddler
Living in Wisconsin can mean long stretches of time in the winter and early spring months without sun, and flat, dull light. One afternoon earlier this month sunlight was streaming in and bouncing all around the living room. I gave myself a little challenge to shape and control the light. I placed Charlotte in a corner, between two windows, using the light from both. I flagged the light coming from one to reduce it, then added in some extra light with an Icelight to highlight her hair and the opening on the back of her dress. Here are a couple of my favorites, both made with the Velvet 56.
